Energy of the week: 8 of cups

Happy Fullmoon in Virgo family! I am super excited because this past weekend I was gifted a brand spanking new Tarot deck called The Light Seers Tarot by Chris Anne. This deck is beautiful and was gifted to me by a good friend @mellietarot on Instagram. 
 Thanks Mellie! I will be using this deck this week for our energy of the week. But about this fullmoon though...This beautiful super moon in Virgo is here to empower us to achieve our dreams. In order for us to do that sometimes we have to remove the parts of ourselves that is getting in our way of achieving that. This is a time for us to reflect on things. Which brings me to the energy of the 8 of cups.
The 8 of cups is all about letting go of disappointments, and releasing the things in our life that no longer serves our highest good. Leaving your old reality to create a new one, and moving through the stagnant energy. In the card there is a young woman walking away from the water and into what I assume is a sunset. She has released her final cup into the water and is finished with her burning bowl ceremony. The energy of this card encourages us to walk away from disappointing situations like a job, living situation or any thing that once brought you joy and happiness but now creates pain for you. You are no longer receiving any joy or benefits from the situation as it didn't particularly turn out the way you hoped it would. The best choice in this situation is to let it go even if it causes you sadness. Instead of waiting and hoping for things to "get better" you know it's time to let go and leave the situation at hand.
In the reverse position the 8 of cups is asking us to check in with our intuition and ask ourselves is this situation a total loss? Or can it be improved? Should you give it one more chance or release it like the young lady in the card?

Happy New Year! Welcome 2020      We are officially on the 4th day of 2020 and I personally am super excited about this year.
