I personally love amethyst. I have amethyst everywhere! In my house, my car, my pockets, my hair, I literally have them on my person as I type this. So lets dig in! Now this is not a very detailed overview of amethyst, this is just my little review of what I've learned thus far and the resources where I am getting the bulk my information from is located down below, so you can do your own search or purchase the books.      Okay! So amethyst is actually the purple variety of the mineral Quartz. The color of amethyst is often caused by the iron impurities or exposure to natural radiation. It is considered a semi precious stone.  Amethyst is known throughout history for preventing drunkenness and overindulgence. The name Amethyst is derived from the greek word

Part 4 Adventures in Weaver Hollow: The Perfect Place to call Home

Part 4 Adventures in Weaver Hollow: The Perfect Place to call home. After my Grandfathers funeral was over the vibe of the house sort of shifted for me there was definitely a void with him being gone. Things just wasn't the same. I couldn't walk in my grandparents room with out leaving in tears. We stayed to help my family with the process of going through his personal items and removing them from the house. That was hard but it helped us on a way. My husband and I decided that we were ready to continue our journey and find the perfect piece of property, settle down, and begin building our forever home. My husband took the lead in this project. We had our list of things we wanted in a piece of property like : natural drinkable water, lots of trees and untouched land, wild edibles, abundant Wild life, great soil, unrestricted land and room to expand.  You guys when I tell you he only looked for a day or two then BOOM! He got a hit. He found  19 acres in a place calle

Welcome to Weaver Hollow: My Hero Part3

Adventures in Weaver Hollow My Hero Part 3 This post is from my mother's Facebook page my Grandfathers last haircut and trim.  The not so good news turned out be the worst news I've ever heard in my whole life. It was pancreatic cancer and at this point the doctors were telling us to just keep him as comfortable as possible. To look at him during this time you could tell he was fighting and he was giving it hell. He got to a point where he just stayed in bed.     Hospice was called in a couple weeks later because he wasn't eating or keeping fluids down very good. Hospice provided us with a smorgasbord of medications to help with nausea, vomiting, pain, constipation and more. He would try them out but he eventually refused to take them except for one, it helped him with the pain.    I recall the morning that hospice came and took him in. He was in excruciating pain and the meds weren't working, he described the pain to me as needles prinking him all over. My

Part 2 Every Thing Changed      After helping my aunts and mother get my Grandmothers health situation to a point where we were comfortable we began to prepare for the Holidays. We celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together. My Grandfather, Mom, and aunts cooked and bought us gifts. we spent some good quality time together. I was grateful for that.      See after I gave birth to my daughter, my husband and I decided that we were ready to move out of the city and into the country so that's just what we did. One con of us moving 2 hours away was that we had little time with our extended family, So during that Holiday of 2017 in particular it warmed my heart to have my little family and my extended family together. Little did we know we would look back and hold those memories from that holiday season dear to our hearts.    Around Feburary 2018. I remember my grandfather getting us our Valentine's chocolates and cards. He was big on giving gifts. That is when I reme

Palo Santos, Cedar, Mullien and Pine Oh My! What herbs and incense I'm loving right now❤

So I've been dabbling into natural herbs and incense heavily for aromatherapy and personal use since about 2017. That's when I really got into researching herbs and smudging  to release negative energy or help boost my creativity or just to change my though process at that particular moment, it's been an ongoing battle but aromatherapy has helped me tremendously.  Pictured here is Palo Santos. A staple in my home. I burn this alot the aroma is very strong and it lingers around that's what I love about. When we get fresh Palo Santos in I can always smell it before it's out of the package.  Palo Santos is a tree that grows on the coast of South America. It Is related to frankenscence, myrrh and copal, and is a part of the mint family. Palo Santos name in Spanish translates to "Holy wood".  Palo Santos has many benefits of use but today I will go over the aromatherapy uses because that's how I will be marketing the herbs we sell as

Happy New Year! Welcome 2020      We are officially on the 4th day of 2020 and I personally am super excited about this year. Last year was a big ol lesson to me that I dont intend on ignoring nor will I ever forget what I learned about myself personally, but We'll get into that during a story time on here later 😉. Any who! I am excited because we are living in our manifestations. I have succeeded in starting and running my own jewelry and crystal healing online boutique.     I had an Awesome debut in December with Raw Artist Nashville which grew into me traveling and vending in some really cool places so far like City Winery Nashville and The Marketplace in East Nashville which I grew up right down the street from, and I've met some pretty talented artist that I'd love to work with. But before I indulge into where we are now, I kind of  have to give you some background on how we got here. *Disclaimer* I'm not sure how many parts this will be but we will jus
